I've been studying voice over with the wonderful Matthew Jay. Tonight we had a promo workout, practicing with actual tracks from television promos. What fun! Next week, we work on commercial copy again. Hope to making a voice over demo soon.
Tonight I was fortunate enough to attend The Power of Comedy at the Palladium. It was a fundraiser for the Noreen Fraser Foundation. The foundation supports women's cancer research, and since I'm a breast cancer survivor, the cause is dear to me. The event was stellar -- stars in attendance (Amy Poehler as honored), great comedy on stage, plentiful drinks, and amazing appetizers. Hope to attend again next year!
Okay, I'm blown away! Went to an acting class tonight with actor/coach Jack Plotnick. He is truly amazing. So happy I've decided to study with him! Check out his website!
